Trade stand modules are 3 metres wide x 2 metres deep x 2.3 metres high. Peek Display Corporation have been appointed to supply, erect and dismantle trade stands for World Bowls 2008. A Trade Stand package includes

The Opportunity and your Investment Your stand will give you face to face access to: elite players and team officials from 28 countries; several hundred volunteers (most from Canterbury but others from around NZ and overseas); many tour groups and spectators from overseas and many parts of New Zealand, and of course locals. The location of the Traders’ Hall is prime space at Burnside and could not be more central or visible. Sixteen days exposure affords a not-to-be-missed, cost effective opportunity for your company to advertise and promote itself and its products at the pinnacle event of the sport of bowls. What is more the Traders’ Hall should be enjoyable and a lot of fun. Purchasing Space The price of a trade stand module is NZ$2,000.00 + GST (NZ$250.00) Multiple stands can be purchased to allow you to expand your space as you desire. Site Allocation Click here to view a floor plan of the Traders’ Hall (not to scale) with the individual stands numbered. These will be offered on a first in, first served basis. The organisers reserve the right to alter the layout of the Traders’ Hall depending on the number of traders booking space and the safety of the public. Even if the layout is changed the stand size will remain the same. Please indicate on the booking form your choice of sites. Please note that we will do our best to meet your preferences but particular sites cannot be guaranteed. Be assured however that all sites will be easily accessible to the public. Booking / Confirmation / Registration / Cancellation Please complete the Trade Stand Booking Form and return it to BENZ, attention Ken Wilson-Pyne. A GST tax invoice will be sent to you with a letter acknowledging your booking. Traders’ sites will be confirmed by BENZ after a NZ$500.00 deposit/stand is received. The final date for this deposit is October 1st 2007. Stands may still be available for purchase after this date but late bookings will incur an administration fee of NZ$50.00 + GST/stand. Site Access Access will be available to the Traders’ Hall from Thursday 10th January at midday. The stand must be complete by 5.00pm on Friday 11th January unless arranged otherwise with BENZ. Other Opportunities to Promote Your Company and Products

Sub Letting Sub letting the whole or part of the space allocated is not permitted. Site Design Restrictions No trader shall be permitted to arrange a stand in such a manner as to obstruct light or inconvenience or disadvantage any other traders Distribution of Promotional Material Distribution of promotional material is only allowed to persons calling at your stand. The aisles must be kept clear. Site Identification Your own signage on your stand is appropriate but the material must not in any way interfere with adjacent or adjoining sites Trading Hours Trading hours will be 8.30 am to the end of play each day, 12 – 27 January 2008. Goods for Sale Traders will only be permitted to sell goods as described on the booking form. Staffing your Stand At least one staff member should be in attendance on your stand at all times during opening hours due to the prime location and free access to the area. If your stand is unattended please make provision to cover your merchandise. Merchandise Deliveries and Vehicle Access Merchandise deliveries and rubbish removal should be made outside of trading hours if at all possible. There is limited space for storage of stock. Restocking of traders’ stands, if necessary, can take place during tournament play but must not inconvenience other traders and the public. Delivery vehicles are required to deposit their goods then immediately move to the designated car park. Parking Arrangements Vehicle parking is not available in the Burnside Bowling Club car park. On completion of the unloading of goods, vehicles will be required to move to the designated car park in nearby Burnside Park Eftpos and Credit Cards New Zealand customers will be able to get cash from the club’s eftpos machine in the lounge bar. Overseas customers wishing to use eftpos to withdraw money will need to use an ATM machine. The closest ATM machine is at the nearby Merrin Street shopping mall. Credit cards are each trader’s responsibility. Your swing ticket will be your entry ticket to the venue and must be worn at all times on site. These will not be replaced if mislaid. Traders have the responsibility for the security of their own valuables at all times. Money and valuable items should be removed overnight. All care will be taken to ensure only authorized people are on site when the venue is not open to the public and to this end professional security guards will be on duty between the hours of 6.00 pm and 7.00 am from January 10th to January 28th2008. Health and Safety Traders must take all necessary steps to ensure the health and safety of their employees, the public, other traders and tournament staff while present on the site. Stand Cleaning Traders will be responsible for keeping their stand clean and tidy for the duration of the event. Damage and Indemnity Neither World Bowls Inc. nor BENZ will be liable for any loss or damage arising from incidents or accidents that may result from any kind of equipment belonging to a trader. The trader will indemnify BENZ against any legal proceedings arising from any accident or incident caused by their actions or equipment. Traders should insure against fire, accidents, theft and other appropriate risks not only as regards their own property, but also against any third party claims. Site Dismantling The dismantling of your stand is not permitted prior to the end of the Official Closing Ceremony on January 27th 2008. Unless otherwise arranged all goods from your stand must be off site by 5 pm on Monday 28th January 2008.
