Peter Doell and his team of Neil Cornelius and Ken Haworth have won the Bowls Canterbury Over
60’s Triples tournament final played on the Fendalton Centre Green.
In a one-sided final Doell’s team were too consistent for the other team skipped by Geoff Clarke which
included husband and wife duo Eric and Estelle Jarvis winning 23-5.

|
Mixed 10s Final - Tonight at the Papanui Club Burnside were the victors over Elmwood. Burnside won
three games to one in a truly great contest, with the result going down to the last end. Well done to all
those who played!

Tayla has been invited to compete in the Junior Golden Nugget event to be held at Tweed Heads in
August this year. Tayla is the only New Zealand invitee which is a great honour. She has also been
allowed time off from school to watch the senior event that features Jo Edwards and Val Smith.
