Hayman Trophy

Jo Edwards Hayman Trophy Winner
A record number of members participated in the drawing competition for the Hayman Trophy. Both the Laing and Davie greens were full and three rinks on Orchard green.
Rules are simple. You have four bowls and you deliver them one after another. You score either 3, 2 or 1 points depending on how close your bowls are. See the measuring stick in the photos. There are four people in a team and your ends vary from Short, Long and Medium. Sounds easy and it is possible to score 12 on each of the 18 ends which means the best score is 216.
The winner was Jo Edwards with a score of 83 points.
