Bowls New Zealand Conditions:
Australian Pairs – Four Bowls per player 2x2x2x2
No time limit

Day One
Friday 14th January     8.30am Start
Section Play    3 games  of 15 ends
48 teams—12 sections of four teams
Points based on Wins—Differential—Ends
Extra End in case of a Draw. Differential and Ends based on 15 ends

At the conclusion of Day One 48 teams, depending on section
placings,  are  drawn into 3 divisions, each with four sections of four
teams  Post Section placings will be determined by “lotâ€� in the
event
of a tie.

Day Two   
Saturday 15th January    8.30am Start
Post Section Play   3 games  of 15 ends
Premier         12 Section winners plus top 4 2nd placegetters
Plate              8 next 2nd placegetters plus top 8 3rd placegetters
Consolation   remaining 16 placegetters

Points based on Wins—Differential—Ends
Extra End in case of a Draw. Differential and Ends based on 15 ends

At the conclusion of Day Two  Section winners from each division will
have qualified for Semi and Finals.  Remaining 36 teams will play on
Sunday (8.30am start) in a 3 game Open Draw “Shoot Out�.

Semi Finals and Finals (Knockout)
Premier        2 games / 15 ends
Plate            2 games / 10 ends
Consolation 2 games / 8 ends
Shoot Out    Section Play 3 games / 3 ends
Quarter, Semi & Final - Top  8  Shoot Out Qualifiers (Knockout)
Shoot Out  3 games / 3 ends
Shoot Out Quarter finalists will be determined by “lot� in the event
of
a tie in determining Top 8.

Points based on Wins—Differential—Ends.
Burnt end is End Played. Extra End in the case of a Draw
