End 17 Gerry manages to set up a short end. His first bowl is long and Aron's first bowl is short! Aron has his two shots and Gerry holds his last bowl. No success with his last bowl
End 16 Gerry attempts to send down a short end but it goes into the ditch. Back to a 3/4 length end. This could be the last one. Both players are up at the head before their last bowl. Gerry holds one with Aron to send down his last bowl. It is short. After a discussion it is two to Gerry.
End 15 Aron draws within six inches with his first. Gerryss bowl rolls up to it and falls out. One to Gerry.
End 14 Long end. Aron holds one but Gerry has one right next to it. Gerry walks back from the head. and sends down his last bowl. No difference.
End 13 Three more for Aron.
End 12 Aron holds one with Gerry holds three seconds. Aron moves the kitty with his last but only holds one. Gerry on the fast draw.

End 11 Aron sets up a long end and draws one with in two feet with hsi first bowl. After four bowls Gerry now holds one. Even though Arons bowls touches the kitty he still only holds one but Gerry draws right up to the kitty. Aron inspects the head before his last bowl. He drives and removes the shot bowl.
End 10 Aron puts the kitty in the ditch. Arons kitty is measured short so it is back to full length again. Aron holds two and Gerry has the last bowl. He removes one of the shot bowls leaving one for Aron.
End 9 Another scattered head but Aron has one close.
End 8 Gerry holds one after four bowls. Aron's bowl kisses the kitty on the way past. Now one to Aron. Bonus time for Aron as he attempts to draw a second.
End 7 Full length 2m to 2m. Gerry's first bowl is close. He holds two after the first four bowls. No tea towel this time. Maybe a large picnic rug. Gerry has two and measures for a third.
End 6 3/4 length. First two bowls short. Wind must be affecting the players! Gerry draws a toucha with hsi second. Draws another with his third. A short bowl stops the drive from Aron. Gerry draws three shots. Aron inspects the head and delivers his last bowl. Drives the kitty into the ditch for two shots.
End 5 Aron drives with his third bowl and only removes his own bowl. Gerry has a bonus bowl but only results in one shot.
End 4 Aron holds one and changes to his forehand for this third bowl. All bowls are short except for one bowl level with the kitty. Gerry's last bowl promotes his short bowl but it move through the head.
End 3 Full length end. Aron holds one and Gerry rolls a bowl between kitty and the shot bowl. His third bowl is short. Aron holds two. Last bowl from Gerry. Measuring for a second shot.
End 2 Slow and steady and the head is another close one. Sems like the players have mastered the wind conditions in Christchurch. Fours bowls on the head and you could throw the proverbial tea towel over them all. Even with eigth bowls on the head, one of large beach towel would cover them all. Two to Aron.
End 1 First end already. Gerry holds one with one more bowl to come. One to Gerry.
