End 19 David the man from Carmanthen changes his approach and sends down a 3/4 length end. He holds one. Iain is struggling to get that one last point. He drives and sits on the kitty in the ditch. This is one shot and David could find it difficult to darw anoher one. The players shake hands with two bowls to go. It is all over. Iain wins.
End 18 David delivers another short end. David is short and Iain is long. David has the shot within one foot. Iain is two feet short. David next bowl is quick but it misses everything. David holds one and he inspects the head. David comes down the backhand and goes threw to the back of the head. Marker says david has two. Iain's last bowl misses everything. After some measuring it is only one to David.
End 17 Short mat and Iain has called for the umpires to measure the length. Kitty is not up and Iain takes the mat back and kitty ends up on the 2m metre mark. David's first bowl ends up in the ditch. Iain's first bowl is past the kitty and is two metres on the right. Davids bowl is long but remains on the rink a foot from the ditch. Iain draws a shot within foot. David next bowl is also long... not shot there. David hold two by dragging the kitty to his other bowl. Iain inspects the head. Iain missed with the drive and David has a two.
End 16 Mat is up and David once again keeps the kitty on the green. He draws one with two feet. Iain holds one shot... and Davids bowl slides past. iaind next bowl is evn closer to the kitty. He holds two. David run shot moves the kitty and he now has two. Iain tries to darw a shot but David still holds two. David draws another shot. Iain's last bowl manages to cut it down to one shot.
End 15 Iain rests out the shot bowl and now holds two. David drives and misses everything. Iain draws another toucha. David drives and takes out the shot bowl. The kitty and shot bowls are together in the ditch. The welshman lives to play another end and also earns three shots.
End 14 Iain starts with a toucha. Draws it cold. David is two feet past the head. Iain is under grassed but comes to rest for another shot. David just misses with his third. Iain fails to change the score. David drives and misses. Iain holds three and if he draws the shot then it will be all over. He was metres short and he is unhappy with the bowl. He has to do another end to win.
End 13 David moves the mat up and this time the kitty stays on the green. David holds one. Iain is short. David draws another shot. Iain comes throgh the head and moves the kitty but David still has two. He draws another. Iain comes to the head and decides what to do with hsi last bowl. It is a full blooded drive and misses everything but does move some stones onto the green.
End 12 Long end. Iain's first bowl is way past the kitty and David's bowls also flies past. David's second is a toucha and has a very close shot. Iain next bowl misses and David next bowl is 3m short. Iain asks the marker and says you have two second shots but his run shot misses. Davids last bowls is full blooded drive but fails to remove any of Iain's bowls.
End 11 David brings the mat but drops the kitty into the ditch. Iain takes the mat back and throws a very long end. same as the first end. David's first bowl is short while Iain is closer. David's second bowl is short also. Iain is in behind but at least holds one shot. David is up the head and collects the kitty and now has one. Iain draws the shot with his third bowl. David's last bowls is narrow and misses everything. Iain gets the bonus and collects a two.
End 10 Iain is running at the head and just misses the shot bowl. Iain second bowl draws up to the ditch. He has everything covered. David could be holding one and a measure. Iain comes rattling through but still leaves one shot for David. Iain tries to remove some more bowls but misses everything.
End 9 4m to 2m length. Iain plays the backhand drops his bowl 1m past. David also plays backhand and it slides past the kitty. Iain's second bowl is narrow. David next bowl finishes over the head. No call from the marker as to who has the shot. David rests out Iains bowl. Iain now a shot within a foot. David inspects the head before playing his last bowl. Davids running last bowl collects the shot bowl. Marker is measuring for the shot bowl. He is taking his time and is measuring three bowls. They are all spread out. Finally one to Iain.
End 8 Full length and Iain draws a very short bowls. David bowl collides with the short and gives Iain a shot. Iain holds two. Davids second bowl goes through the head and out the back. Iain now holds three. David comes up to the head. Iain's last bowl falls short. He is not happy. David's last bowl is a run shot and misses everything.
End 7 Two short bowls by Iain and David holds one shot after four bowls. Iain draws a shot with two feet with hsi last bowl. David drives with his last bowls and removes his second shot. Iain picks up a one.
End 6 After four bowls Iain holds one shot. David tries a running shot and fails to remove any bowls. Iain draws another. David last bowl also does not alter the score.
End 5 David moves the mat up and this time he manages to keep the kitty on the green. It is a shortish end. Nothing close yet. Iain fails to add to the count with his last bowl and has to be happy with two shots.
End 4 David holds three. Iain has his last bowl in his hand. He fails to draw and David adds another one to get a four.. He is glad to be on the board and now leads!
End 3 David draws a toucha on the first bowl but fails to add another one to the tally. Iain clears away the shot bowls and gets a toucha of his own. He has a three. This might be a short game.
End 2 Iain throws a long end. After fours bowls only one is close. David holds one and goes to visit the head.
End 1 David wins the toss and with the mat up throws the kitty into the ditch. Iain moves the mat back and they are now playing a full length end.

Weather is fine (23.8 feels like 24) with a gentle breeze from the north east. Great conditions for some superb bowling. Scotland is currently third and Wales is fourth.
