Warwick Ainger is nominated for his service to the sport of lawn bowls. Warwick has
been president of Burnside Bowling Club 2006-2008, also during that time Warwick
chaired the operational committee fro both Asia Pacific Bowls Championship 2007
and World Bowls Championship 2008. Warwick has also been the financial adviser to
the board of Bowls Events NZ from 2005-2008. His work contributed to an efficiently
run and financially successful series of international events which brings much credit to
the Burnside Bowling Club and the North West of Christchurch. Burnside Bowling Club
was awarded the Bowls NZ Club of the Year title in 2008, Warwick contribution played
a big part in achieving this title.
